This Riverhills Coastal Sanctuary guest bathroom renovation distills the quiet elegance of coastal living into a functional, considered space. The brief called for a bathroom that felt both grounded and serene, one that would age gracefully while maintaining a strong sense of place. The result is a layered interior that draws on natural materials, warm metallics, and tactile surfaces to create a retreat-like atmosphere within the home.

Design Approach

The design pairs green mosaic wall tiles, rich with organic variation against large-format stone-look floor and lower-wall tiles, creating a clear two-zone composition. The mosaic reads as an artistic feature while the larger tiles provide visual calm and a sense of spaciousness. A frameless glass shower screen keeps the layout open and allows the tiling to read as a continuous surface across the wet zone.
