Stone House - Organic European Family Home
This new build, designed beautifully in collaboration with Architect Renee Popovic and Hortum Landscaping navigates Queensland character requirements while delivering the warmth and soul of a European countryside home. The result is something genuinely rare, a home that honours its heritage context without ever feeling constrained by it.
Design Approach
Raw stone feature walls, Italian Porphyry crazy paving, arched entry doors, and bolt-lit garden pathways create an arrival that feels considered and romantic. Inside, Calacatta Viola marble makes a bold statement in the kitchen before flowing through to the powder room and master ensuite, creating a cohesive thread of luxury across all three spaces. Silver Ocean travertine and beige travertine tiles bring additional depth and warmth throughout the bathrooms, while the cellar and lower ground bathroom introduce Patagonia quartz for a moodier, more grounded finish. Brass hardware runs consistently throughout, tying every space together with a quiet, enduring elegance.
The rear of the home opens to a lush entertainer's garden with a pool, covered alfresco, and layered Mediterranean planting — a private sanctuary that feels worlds away.
Currently under construction in the heart of Annerley, we are super excited to see this build completed!
